Ring Beam
Once the piles are installed we also provide the service of doing the ring beam. Which includes excavating the ground ready for the ring beam to be installed. Permanent formwork (as pictured) may need to be added if the ground is unstable and likely to cave in.
Underpinning
This is required when a building starts subsiding mainly due to bad ground, tree roots or heave. The piles are installed a couple of feet (roughly) away from the building and cage is added. This goes under the original foundation, giving it the extra support that is needed.
